A very cool and rare Ibanez AH-10 Allen Holdsworth Signature electric guitar made in Japan. Only made for a few years in the mid 80's (85-87) It was a signature model for British jazz fusion guitarist Allan Holdsworth. The AH10 usually came with a single, custom pick-up, but this one has been modded. It has 2 Seymour Duncan '59 BJ pick-ups and someone also added a 3 way blade style switch. These pickups are known for their warm, full sound with a clear attack. Using Alnico 5 magnets and the original Gibson-style winder for their construction, making them popular for classic rock and blues sounds. Key Features: Body: A lightweight, Roadstar II basswood body with a chamber routed behind the pickguard to reduce weight and add acoustic qualities. Neck & Fretboard: 1 piece maple, D-shaped neck and Ebony fretboard Nut: A graphite nut helps with tuning stability. Tremolo: Powerocker tremolo system with an aluminum block. Pick-ups: Vintage Seymour Duncan '59BJ humbuckers. "59": Refers to the specific model, a modern reproduction of the 1950s Gibson humbucker. "B": Indicates that this is the Bridge position pickup. "J": In some early vintage pickups, the "J" designation indicates the pickup was hand-wound by Maricela Juarez, a renowned Seymour Duncan custom shop winder, adding unique character to the pickup. The guitar plays great and sounds awesome! Its got some wear and tear on the frets from years of playing. Couple small marks and dings on the body, but nothing too major.
