Up for sale ($389 per pair - unblemished block and pairs available at higher cost, shipping in Canada included) are several versions of a 30 plus year error issued by Canada Post . Somehow a few sheets of this 45 cent stamp did not go through the perforating press after being printed and having the general tagging applied. There are no official numbers of how many errors escaped but the assigned Unitrade catalogue value of $1200 per pair suggests it is not a high number. Also of note is that all sheets to date show some signs of rough handling with varying levels of gum disturbances, paper bends or gum/paper creases evident throughout the sheets. Some pairs offered here do have some minor / light bends (far fewer than is the norm) but also exhibit XFNH centering with no other gum disturbances. As noted above , other XFNH pairs and an XFNH block that are free of any bends or gum problems are also available so email for pricing info for them. In all cases, the agreed to price is net - no Canada delivery, GST , PST or buyers premium charges to be added. Any extra insurance wanted by the purchaser shall be extra.
