Need a vintage or antique handsaw sharpened? I'm your guy. Backsaw prices: $15 for sharpening $10 to set the teeth $10 surcharge to change a rip to crosscut or vice-a-versa (not typically charged for saws with 11tpi or more) For panel saws over 16" add $5 to each of the fees above. (e.g. to sharpen and reprofile a crosscut to rip will be $35). I won't fine you if you don't know the difference between a rip and a crosscut 😃. Also happy to provide advice if you aren't sure what you want. Saw setting is not required every time a saw is sharpened. I'll set the saw if you insist upon it, but I won't do so as a matter of course (I can let you know when a saw is dropped off if it will be required or not). Sharpening occurs in the vicinity of Thetis Lake. Pickup or drop off of saws by me may be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
