German Shepherd + family looking for future home

My partner and I, along with our 4-year-old German Shepherd, are hoping to find a special place to call home where we can grow some food and have room for our bestest boy to run. Somewhere between Victoria and the Cowichan Valley We’re looking for at least two bedrooms and would love a suited or suite-able home — whether it already has a finished suite or there’s an unfinished space we could convert in the future. If you’re looking to stay on the property and rent the suite from us, we’re open to exploring that too. We know this time of year, when the rain settles in, some people start thinking about selling but aren’t quite ready to list. Maybe you’d like to downsize soon but not right away, or you’d love to see your property cared for by the right people. We’re ready to buy and fully qualified for traditional financing, but also open to creative arrangements that make things easier for the right seller, such as: • Flexible closing timelines • Seller financing if it benefits both sides • Caretaker-to-owner or gradual transitions • You staying in a suite or secondary dwelling We’re exploring a few different possibilities, such as: • A detached home with a suite or suite potential • A small acreage with space for fruit trees and a few poultry • A multi-building property with separate living spaces or rental potential Our budget is in line with current market values for these types of properties, and we’re open to discussing fair options that work for both sides.
