I’m looking to start an alt-country / americana / y’allternative band. I’m looking to hear from bass players, drummers, fiddlers and pedal / lap / B-bender players. And anybody who’s got a mandolin or accordion or keyboard, etc if they play it well. I’m looking for players who want to practice, gig often and make some money. But mostly want to make people dance and make noise with some friends. I'm a good singer. Lead or backup. I’m a solid rhythm guitarist. Drop me a line and tell me why you dig The Louvin Brothers, The Blue Shadows, Gurf Morlix, Buffalo Springfield, Son Volt, Gram Parsons, BR5-49, Nashville Skyline, The Jayhawks, Sweetheart of the Rodeo, Rank and File, etc, etc. Being in a band used to mean a lot. I miss that. Being in a band should be like being in a gang. You've got each other's backs, you're proud to be in it, and even if you're smart enough to know better, you wanna do it anyways.
