Offered for sale this, Robert Morden - 1695 - Antique 17th Century Map - The Bishoprick Of Durham - Hand Coloured - Framed. The copper etched map in paper is in good condition, given it age. There is some crinkled creases to the corners (shown in photos), but otherwise the tasteful hand colouring is still strong and bold. The map is framed behind glass, however the back of the frame has been loosened to look at the back of the map. Should be an easy repair. The map titled “Episcopaius Dunelmensis Vulgo The Bishoprick Of Durham By Robt. Morden would make a fantastic addition to any collection. Measuring framed 26.25 inches in height x 27.75 inches in width. Map in mat measuring approximately 14.5 inches in height x 17 inches in width.
