Amazing collection of 78 rpm records, approximately 1200 discs, mainly 1925-1945, 10”. 90% popular music, British and American dance bands, swing bands, vocalists, jazz, small amount of Western. Victor (US Scroll and Canadian pressings), Columbia, HMV, Brunswick, Bluebird, Decca, Melotone, US WWII “V” disc transcriptions, etc. Big names of that era: Ellington, Armstrong, Crosby, Whiteman (incl. “Potato Head” labels), lots of Ray Noble, Ambrose, English bands on HMV, Victor and Parlophone, etc. Remaining 10% is acoustic popular, WWI, classical, c.1905-1935. All are in sleeves, labeled, generally in catalogue order, many with session notes, dates, personnel, etc. VG to E-; many in stunning condition, no list - a serious collector’s accumulation.
