These 2 year old egg laying chickens are Sex Sal Link Browns purchased as chicks from Rochester Hatchery. The Hybrid egg layers are prolific laying 280-300 eggs per year per bird, and have all molted into their new feathers for the Winter and have lived a great life with an outdoor run their whole life. Im selling the birds for $10 per bird, or you can have all 14 for $100. These birds are NOT for turning into soup or crab bait, if you have any intention of killing them for purposes other than giving them a new home I will not sell them to you and simply take them with me to my new farm until someone who wants them as layers does, as I'm currently moving. These layers are not "spent", these are happy healthy hens that would be perfect for starting a backyard flock for your family or small acreage. If the ad is up, the girls are still available.
