Estate caretaker - Live in

Job Posting: Estate Caretaker Position Type: Part-time, Live on property Position available for a live on property part-time caretaker to help with the care and maintenance of a private estate. Must possess a valid driver’s license and vehicle for errands and light hauling. Successful applicant must be a non-smoker and possess a profession, responsible and mature attitude, self-motivated and be able to work independently. Key Responsibilities: • Maintain the lawns and grounds – mowing, trimming, etc. • general upkeep of the estate, including minor equipment and property repairs, cleaning, and preventative maintenance. • Manage seasonal tasks (snow removal, pond, minor irrigation repair, etc.). • Provide occasional support with household and farm needs such as receiving deliveries, light hauling and animal care. Qualifications: • Previous experience in property or estate management, grounds keeping, or a similar role. • Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance. • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks independently. • High level of discretion, integrity, and reliability. • Ability to work flexible hours, including occasional evenings or weekends. • Criminal record check required.
