part-time caregiver needed in langford

We are looking for a mature person with a background working with seniors to help with the care and comfort of my husband’ s sister, who is a senior with moderate dementia living at home in Langford. Ideally, we would like to find someone who could ease into the position slowly in order to ensure it is a good fit for both parties. She is most likely to be comfortable with someone in their 50s or older. Visits would be for either the morning (breakfast and meds) and/or evening (supper, meds). Tasks would likely include seeing that her cat has food, water and a fairly clean litter box, some light cleaning, vacuuming, and getting her garbage and recycling to the street once every two weeks. It would also be great if you could regularly share your observations about her state of mind and health with us. This position is likely to gradually evolve into more duties and hours per week as her dementia progresses. If this sounds like it might work for you, please let me know a good time to call you.
