Traffic Control Person

Position: Traffic Control Person Job Type: Full-time, Part Time Pay: $20.00-$26.00 per hour Expected hours: 20-40 hours per week BCRS Road Safe In c. You will be required to have a TCP ticket/certification, maintain and cellular phone and have a reliable vehicle. YOU MUST HAVE A BCCSA TCP CERTIFICATE TO APPLY. YOU WILL NOT BE CONTACTED UNLESS YOU ARE CERTIFIED IN BRITISH COLUMBIA. Responsibilities: * Direct traffic and ensure the safe and efficient flow of vehicles * Set up and remove traffic control devices such as cones, barricades, and signs * Communicate with drivers and pedestrians to provide directions or instructions * Monitor traffic conditions and adjust traffic control measures as needed * Report any incidents or hazards to supervisors or appropriate authorities * Maintain a clean and organized work areaSkills: * Ability to build and dismantle traffic control devices * Knowledge of paving operations and materials * Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with drivers and pedestrians * Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate placement of traffic control devicesQualifications: * BCCSA TCP Certification * Excellent communications skills * Must have drivers Licence and transportationBenefits: * Dental care * Employee assistance program * Extended health care * Life insurance Schedule : * 8-, 10- & 12-hour shifts * Monday to Friday * Weekends as neededSupplemental pay types: * Overtime PayWork Location: On the road Send resume to: hr@bcroadsafe.com Company: BCRS Road Safe Inc.
