I’m looking for a responsible, easygoing housemate to share my cozy, quiet home with my dog & I The House: Along the edge of Butchart Gardens, this home offers a lush forest backdrop from its balcony and large windows. It also offers a fully loaded kitchen with dishwasher, laundry in suite, a yard, an herb garden, 2 bathrooms including 1 with a jacuzzi tub (you'd get your own private bathroom), a balcony with full sun, and more storage space than you’ve ever seen at this price point. Room is not furnished. House is a couple minutes walk to a major bus route (75), and a couple minutes drive to the village of Brentwood Bay. This is a relaxed, respectful, and peaceful home environment. This home is not for parties or excessive drinking or getting rowdy. Rather early rises, home cooked meals, and a judgment free space to indulge in our hobbies after a long day’s work - be it movie nights, arts & crafts, game nights, meditations, or whatever you’re into. Your Housemate: My name is Adam, and I’m a 32 year old landscaper who’s building a dog-hiking side business. I grind Monday to Friday and I chill out with my downtime. I’m big into music, movies, tabletop games, 3D printing, gym, yoga, watching my favourite hockey team, and getting outdoors with my dog. - No puppies, unfortunately (mature dogs will be considered) - No cats - No tobacco smoking - Must have proof of income - Available April 1st, however I can accommodate an earlier move-in. Prefer long-term but open to short-term if it's the right fit! Rent doesn't include internet and utilities. We split those costs with a third tenant living in the separate basement suite.
