EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY Housekeeper – Casual/On-Call M’akola Housing Society Langford, BC – Jesken Aerie Position Summary Under the direction of the Assisted Living Manager (ALM) this position ensures residents are provided with a warm, welcoming, and friendly environment, and is responsible for a wide range of tasks including but not limited to the cleanliness of resident suites and common areas of the facility. Shifts are 8:00am-4:00pm Qualifications • Grade 12 or equivalent • 1-2 years of experience working in housekeeping preferably in a congregate/assisted living setting • Experience in and with Indigenous communities would be an asset • Certifications in First Aid, Food Safe and WHMIS (M’akola will provide paid time off and pay for the course) • Clear Criminal Record Check • Fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or be willing to get vaccinated before their start date, as per M’akola Housing Society’s COVID-19 Vaccine Policy.
