For sale is a rare pair of Coincident Super (“Special”) Conquest (SSC) loudspeakers. I am the second owner, having purchased them in 2002. Soon after, Coincident upgraded the drivers and crossover to those used in their then flagship model, the Total Eclipse — the same upgrades developed for respected audio reviewer Doug Schneider. Coincident’s Total Eclipse received the Golden Ear Award in 2001. These speakers deliver exceptional performance and musicality — refined, dynamic, and deeply engaging. Despite their age (nearly 25 years), they remain a reference-quality pair that has easily outlasted many newer designs in my system. Condition: • Finish has several nicks and blemishes consistent with age. • Sonically perfect — never abused or overdriven. • Used exclusively in a pet-free, smoke-free, and child-free environment by a careful, long-time mature audiophile. Reason for Sale: Upgraded within the Coincident lineup to the Total Victory V. Details: • Approx. 100 lbs each (boxed). • Original factory boxes included (shipping possible, but costly). • Asking: $1,975 (reasonable offers considered). • Local cash sale preferred. These are rare, hand-built speakers that represent outstanding value for serious audiophiles. Hard to find, harder to replace. Please don't hesitate to ask any questions and thanks for checking out my ad.
