Part time Caregiver - Companion Required

Above Average Wage and a Pleasant Work Environment. Part-Time, Caregiver- Companion Position Providing companionship and caregiver services two to three times per week. Total of approximately 6 - 8 hours per week. More hours will be added in future. This may include one three hour weekend shift. Some flexibility available with hours. ONLY REPLY IF YOU MEET THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS. Seeking engaging and compassionate female to provide caregiving and companionship services to a personable and socially engaging senior in central Victoria. Experience working with clients in wheelchair with limited mobility and a well rounded skill set in personal care and companionship is required. A positive attitude and can-do approach to problem solving is necessary. *Main Duties and Responsibilities but not limited to; Assist client with noon or evening meal. Maintain food items in fridge. See that client is comfortably seated in wheelchair with appropriate support pillows, clean eye glasses ect. Engage in after dinner activities like crossword puzzles, reading, word games and visiting. Light pre bedtime caregiving duties; makeup removal, wash face etc. Light housekeeping duties; tidy room, wipe down counter tops, water plants, clothes hung up etc. Regularly report on general activities and report any concerns immediately. Must be punctual and dependable. Must keep record of hours worked and sign-in and out before and after shift. Keep records of concerns of client. **Note: NO toileting, bathing, dental cleaning or cooking Required.** *Requirements: **ONLY candidates that comply with requirements will receive a response. **A written record or resume of work history including dates, locations, position and references letters when requested. ** Proof of relevant education and experience. ** Proof of Covid 19 vaccinations.
