Nail Care Technician

We are seeking a talented Nail Care Technician to provide nail care services in our company’s beauty parlor. As a Nail Technician, you will be responsible for performing nail care services, including filing, buffing, shaping and polish application. As part of your daily routine, you will keep yourself informed on the latest nail care trends and technologies while maintaining a high level of customer service. Job type: Permanent, Full time (40 hours per week) Wage: $18/ hour. Responsibilities: Complete and perform regular sanitization and cleaning procedures across all areas of the salon, including the nail bar and pedicure room. Discuss with customers options for nail treatments. Prepare and apply artificial, gel or acrylic nails, or hand-painted polish to the nails of customers. Prepare a variety of nail designs as per customer’s request. Apply layer upon layer of transparent powder to protect nails from yellowing, chipping or lifting. Use tools like grinders and buffers to smooth out a rough surface or shape a nail. Remove excess cuticles, clean nails using an orange stick and shape them using a nail file. Create a variety of shapes such as ovals, squares, rectangles, triangles etc. on the nails of customers based on their specifications. Language: English Completion of high school, college or beauty school programs for cosmeticians, estheticians, electrologists, manicurists, and pedicurists is required.
