Looking to start a jazz band

Hello jazz musicians, I am a drummer looking to work on my jazz skills (Dynamics, meter, volume, styles) I have been working on it, got a good handle on brushes as well. I would like to work preferably with a pianist, upright bass and wind or brass, but not firm on that. Not looking for shows at the moment just the skills. I live in Colwood
