Spine edge exhibits splitting, and a full seam split between the front pastedown and front free paper. The front pastedown has markings and notes from a previous owner. 271 pages are securely attached to the hinge, with all content intact. Rudyard Kipling (1865–1936) was an English journalist, poet, and author, most renowned for his works such as The Jungle Book (1894) and Kim (1901).
