This bookcase is solid wood and very strong. Reason for selling is that it needs a lot of space. It holds large amount of books (see photo 3). The shelves are very strong. Total width is about 55 inches, height is 70 inches, and the depth of the shelves are 12 inches. Very easy to assemble. There's a metal back X brace as well so the unit won't sway.
