
A collection of "Panel Optic"and "Diamond Optic engraved stemware and goblets, delicate pink, hard to find, since not much of it was made. They were frequently sold in jewelry stores and used for dinner parties, special occasions, and would have been called “the good glassware”. Excellent condition: no nicks or chips. $40 Elegant Watermelon Glass Diamond Optic Wheel Engraved Wine Goblet Set; set of 6 measuring approximately 7" tall, 3" across the bowl and 2 3/4" across the base. The bases are a green glass while the bowls and "lady leg" stems are a light pink colour. It was this colour combination which led to the term "watermelon glass". These pieces were produced with the "diamond optical" pattern in the bowls, which were then copper wheel engraved with a floral pattern. $60 excellent condition, but one piece has 2 tiny chips in rim.
