Beautiful room available in a cozy home — a place where the kettle is often on, evenings are calm, and the walls tell stories through local art (by myself and others who have lived here). Imagine living in a bright room overlooking a park, having a dreamy spare room/office with balcony, and living not with a house full of folks but just one clean and respectful roommate! The house is tucked away on a quiet cul-de-sac in Oaklands — just a short stroll from Fernwood, Jubilee Hospital, and Camosun College, where you can enjoy your tea in the Spirit Garden next to the house. Rent is $1200/month + hydro/heat & house expenses (internet, water, and gas are included). Willing to negotiate price for certain circumstances. Available February 1st or possibly sooner (if needed). I’m hoping for a 6 month commitment or longer but open to shorter (potentially) while looking for someone more long term. Possible to provide some simple furniture if needed. About me: Friendly, mature, low-key, and a fan of a home that feels like a calm exhale. I enjoy a clean and quiet environment that feels like home. I have a BSW, I love cooking, baking, gardening, crafting, cycling, playing board games and sharing good food! I have lots of plants and one sweet pet that will surely capture your heart 💜 Perks? An established garden,, easy/free street parking, basement storage, and a claw-foot tub where you can soak while gazing at our backyard jungle - perfect for a slow, restorative soak. Room can come with a lend of simple furniture (bed, dresser, shelf) if needed. :) I’m looking for someone who values a peaceful home: clean, considerate, employed, and content with quiet nights but not too early mornings. Would love to share meals sometimes and play board games if you’re up for it (I have many!)
