Go back in time before the mouse or Windows when personal computing was command prompt driven. Try your hand at 'Basic' programming and print with a dot matrix printer. Games were very simple but engaging. No viruses or internet. Comes complete with a library of documentation and instructions in print. This was a time when a 300 baud modem was the norm. Besides doing word processing, spreadsheets and a filing program; using the modem could get you on a mainframe computer. Everything is here to learn how to use it, print and connect to a computer out there using the Kaypro as a terminal. I have quit a few discs as well for data storage and the original software discs. This could be a hobby for someone looking for a challenge and reliving personal computing 40 years ago. The operating system is CP/M which predated DOS but similar in many ways. The Kaypro ll was one of two portable computers in its day. The other was an Osbourne. IF YOU THINK YOU MIGHT BE INTERESTED AT ALL LET ME KNOW, IF COST IS THE ISSUE MAYBE WE CAN COME TO TERMS.
