This Ibex Purfling Cutter was designed by luthier Irving Sloane and is a well-made edge guide with twin removable knives. Use a single blade to cut slots for edge bindings, or use both blades to cut .085"-wide purfling channels. The tool cuts 0" to 1/4" from the edge of the instrument. It's crafted of cast bronze with a hardwood handle. Allen wrench included and is allen-adjustable both horizontally and vertically.
