Navigating the Real Estate Landscape for Seniors

Organized by the Victoria Seniors Business Network and sponsored by Home Equity Bank, this event will provide valuable insight into the process of moving including timing, preparation, pitfalls to avoid, the sale process, costs, finance options and how to maximize your equity. Keynote speaker Tony Joe of RE/MAX Sabre Properties has specialized in working with seniors in his 30+ years in the Victoria real estate market, having assisted thousands of families in the community. A panel discussion will include Jill Phipps from Home Again Transition Services on downsizing and Laura Gillette from Home Equity Bank on the topic of reverse mortgages. The event is being held at St. Patrick’s Church, 2060 Haultain Street on October 22, 2025 from 1:30-3:30. There is no cost and free parking is available on site.
