Barrett Smith Construction is a full-service General Contractor based on the Saanich Peninsula, serving residential and commercial customers across lower Vancouver Island. We are currently growing, and hiring for the following positions: Construction Foreman Journeyman Carpenter Apprentice Carpenter Labourer We offer competitive wages. Foreman & Journeyman Carpenters: As a tight-knit team, we depend on a strong work ethic and solid leadership from our senior staff. We expect our carpenters and foremen to be self-starters who bring a high level of skill to the job and can easily communicate with clients and teammates. For high performers we offer additional perks like company trucks, bonuses and profit sharing. Interior finishing skills an asset for this position. Labourers & Apprentices: We do all kinds of projects, from renos to custom home builds to light commercial. As part of our team you’ll be exposed to a wide range of jobs which gives apprentices and labourers a great opportunity to gain valuable experience.
