About Us Our company provides Top-Notch yacht management and detailing services to all major marinas in southern Vancouver Island. We strive to provide our clients with the best service and results possible. We are currently looking for crew members to join our fun and dynamic team, who will work hard to fulfil the busy boating season. Job Description & Skill Requirements: Basic boat knots and simple boating tasks Application of waxes and compounds to paint and gel coat Polishing boats with electric polishers Detailing and cleaning yachts of all shapes and sizes Keeping track of products and using them efficiently Time management and maximizing work hours Working with the team and being a team player Can handle working at heights on larger yachts Ability to operate power tools for long periods of time Ability to work outdoors no matter the conditions Odd jobs; Vacuuming, carpet cleaning, caulking, painting..etc. If you have prior waxing or polishing experience, we will negotiate a higher rate of pay. Showing up to the different marinas and having your own vehicle is a must. Being on time, and being at work on scheduled workdays is an absolute must as all teams rely on each other to get the job done on time. This job entails hard work and manual labor. Most working days are in the hot sun, holding 10 lb polishing equipment for multiple hours. This job is not for people who can't handle hard work and good fun. We need strong, energetic candidates who can stay focused on the task at hand and work hard through the challenges. We are only hiring a limited few to join our crew and if you are one of the chosen ones, rest assured we treat our employees like family. All we ask in return is that you work hard and take pride and care in your work while on our client's boats. Previous work experience in the following areas is an asset, but not required: Painting, landscaping, window cleaning, general labour, auto detailing, pressure washing, cleaning, carpentry...etc. Job Type: Full-time Salary: $23.00-$28.00 per hour Schedule: 8 hour shift Supplemental pay types: Overtime pay, Tips Experience: labourer: 1 year (preferred) Application questions: Do you have reliable transportation to marinas, at this point we are only accepting candidates with their own vehicle for transportation.
