MAKITA 2708 8” Table Saw with auxiliary stand and fence. Extremely versatile set up- carry the saw itself in the back of the truck and use it on the tail gate for small jobs (it has it’s own fence) or take the auxiliary stand with it’s large fence and wider capacity for larger jobs. A good set up for a garage as well- the saw is compact and powerful and easily stored and the stand folds up against a wall or stands in a corner. Saw drops into stand and is secured by preset (but adjustable) dogs that ensure the blade is always parallel with the larger fence. Rip capacity is 32”. No other small portable saw can match that. With a thin kerf blade the saw will rip 2 x material all day long. Blade raises and lowers easily. These saws are still in demand- I regularly see the stands alone for sale on line for $350 or more. Can be adjusted to fit other saws.
