Caregiver Job - 24-hour shifts and partial shifts available. Training is $23.00/hr. The regular wage is 25.00/hr. $600 a shift. I am 48 years old and have Duchenne's Muscular Dystrophy, (Quadriplegic), I require assistance with all aspects of daily living. I’m looking to fill a 24-hour regular weekly shift. Ideally, I’m looking to fill a 24-hour shift from (Monday 2 pm till Tuesday 2 pm). Partial 8, 12, 16-hour shifts are also an option. Are you available to work extra shifts from time to time? I live in a house in Langford near Walmart. The pay is $25.00/hour per 24-hour paid shift. I have a power wheelchair and a ceiling track lift to help me from bed to wheelchair, so no heavy lifting is required. I use a ventilator to help me breathe. No previous caregiver training is needed. All the training you will need to help me will be provided. Do you have a driver’s license, it’s not a requirement but welcomed as I have my own accessible Van. We can schedule an interview if this sounds like a good fit for you. Any day or weekend? The best times for me are between 5:00 pm and 8:00 pm. Interviews usually take about one hour. Other requirements: Criminal record check, First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain upon hire). Current TB Test (upon offer of employment). I do not pay cash.
