Accounts Payable Assistant

Accounts Payable Assistant Victoria Ford Alliance Ltd requires a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Assistant to join our fast paced, administration team. This is a full-time position located at our beautiful 4th floor main office in Victoria, BC and serves our multiple dealership locations with AP services. What we are looking for in a successful candidate:  A team player with a great attitude  An eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills  A great work ethic with strong communication, clerical and Microsoft Office skills  Capable of prioritizing and managing various tasks  Enjoy being busy all the time in a fast-paced environment  Hands on experience with accounts payable  Excited to learn new tasks and contribute to the success of our team What you will do:  Assist with the preparation and posting of accounts payable invoices and spreadsheets  Assist with vendor reconciliations, cheque / EFT payable runs and on demand payments  Research and resolve discrepancies and customer queries  Investigate schedules, make adjustments and inquiries  Maintain customer files and records  Manage multiple incoming and outgoing email boxes  Provide back up and holiday coverage for Accounts Receivable which includes daily cash balancing, processing account payments and sending information requests  Other miscellaneous tasks as related to the day to day running of the AP/AR Department We are excited to offer:  Professional but relaxed working environment*  Opportunity for growth and advancement  Top industry remuneration;  A benefit plan offering medical, dental, life insurance and pension plan  Paid vacation time with the option of additional flex days  Monday to Friday shift *Please note this position does not offer a remote work option It is our goal to bring aboard people with a passion for the industry, strong work ethic, high integrity, and a desire to grow with us!
