Remember the Beta / VHS wars? Welcome to the results of the same battle in the new Millennium! Blu-Ray and HD-DVD battled it out in the early 2000's, and HD-DVD was not the victor. You can sell Beta stuff for good money these days, you could almost call this an investment. The format still has a few fans, so here's a good unit for them. Note: this will play HD-DVDs, DVDs and CDs, it will NOT play Blu-Rays (in case that wasn't clear). Toshiba HD-A20 HD-DVD player with 12 (+1 sealed duplicate of "300") movies (see titles in first picture). The laser mechanism has been cleaned and lubed. I tracked down the final version of firmware released for these units and updated it. The discs and the player are all in good working condition.
