Unlike repeated ironing, the trouser press will not create a surface sheen on garments and the built-in thermostat prevents scorched fabrics. The stretcher bar system pulls pants taut to eliminate the need to straighten fabric before pressing and removes the stubborn back-of-the knee wrinkles left behind by traditional ironing.
