A “Limited Edition” guitar, designed and played by Robben Ford for many years when performing and recording blues and jazz. Robben Ford has been named one of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of the 20th Century" by Musician magazine and has also received five Grammy Award nominations. He plays this instrument on several of his YouTube videos (search YouTube for “Robben Ford - Blues & Beyond”). These guitars, which were produced by the high-end Fender shop in Japan, and have chambered alder bodies, spruce tops and ebony fingerboards. Robben Ford's signature is on the guitar's truss rod cover. The bound headstock features a Mother of pearl fan inlay Both the bridge and fine tuning tail-piece are gold-plated. The scale length is 24.75 inches (628mm), the width (between the 1st and 6th strings) at the nut is 36mm. The guitar comes in a hard case and has a new set of high-end smooth wound strings installed.
