This is a Japanese 1972 Goya Les Paul Custom. This guitar is truly phenomenal. I would put it up against most any American Les Paul. The build quality is better than the American guitars today and the pickups are too. The fretboard is ebony with real mother of pearl. It plays like butter with a much nicer neck than the original 1972s. Maple top and mahogany 'pancake' body just like the Gibsons. Newer Grover tuners and a custom pick guard made out of a record. The pickups (possibly Maxons) are clear and articulate but also warm and powerful. The original pots and caps have been replaced with top quality components. A few bumps from over the years, but generally very good condition. Get a professional grade Custom for 1/10th the price of an American 1972 Custom! Open to reasonable offers.
