Would fabulous speakers the Yamaha NS1000m are. They are clean sounding detailed de wonderful midrange and a tight authoritative bottom end. Great balance across all frequencies. I have owned many high-end vintage speakers over the years, and these are definitely among the best. They are very efficient and able to be driven with lower watt tube amps, as well as larger solid-state amps. This pair has just had a full cosmetic restoration. The cabinets were covered with exotic Wenge veneer then oiled with with many coats of Watco Danish oil. The finish was then polished bring them to a smooth, beautiful low luster sheen.
