$1,000 · Roommate Wanted in Two Bedroom Apartment

Bedroom for rent in a two-bedroom suite available January 1st. Rent is $1000, it includes shared laundry, Telus Fiber Optic WIFI, Netflix, Prime, Disney+ and Crave. Hydro and heat are separate and are billed bimonthly. Cat friendly, will consider the addition of another small fur baby. The home is in Maplewood, close to UVIC and Camosun; 7 minutes’ drive and 13/16minute bike ride away. Close buses are the 25 outside our place, then a short walk to the 6, 26, 17, and 51 and There is one spot at the bottom of the driveway to park, and lots of street parking. We also have lots of storage (in suite, under our deck, and part of a shed) if you have a bike too. The room can come furnished or unfurnished. Room is larger than it appears, tall queen size bed is not included, the furnishing will change when my roommate leaves. Our shared space includes the kitchen, bathroom, and living/ dining area and deck. The furniture is very eclectic, and I invite you to bring in elements of your style to feel at home. I have many plants and would love the assistance of someone with a green thumb to help me keep them alive (I want to start a garden in the spring too). I’m searching for (and offer myself as) a clean, friendly, and reliable female roommate who has experience sharing an apartment and is planning to live in Victoria for a while. Someone that is great with cats as I have two very sweet male cats. I’m hoping to co-create a respectful and solid living environment where we are both mindful, accountable and strive to cultivate a harmonious living environment. I am a vegetarian, and I am hoping you are too. LGBTQ+ Friendly. No smoking or drugs of any kind. Unfortunately, no couples but over-night guests can be discussed as we both need to feel comfortable.
