Food Service Worker - Broadmead Care

We are looking for Food Service Workers at three of of our locations - Beckley Farm Lodge (BFL-James Bay), Rest Haven Lodge (RHL-Sidney), and Veterans Memorial Lodge (VML-Royal Oak). What we offer: • Regular part time and on call positions currently available • Starting wage of $21.75 per hour • Great benefits and pension for regular staff (pay in lieu of benefits for on call staff) What you bring: • Grade 10; preferably completion of Grade 12 • Food Safe Level 1 Certification; preferable completion of basic WHMIS training and basic knowledge of computers • Some knowledge of the routines involved in a food production or food service operation • Ability to follow instructions • Ability to interact effectively with co-workers, the public, and our elderly residents • Ability to meet the physical requirements of the job including lifting, bending, reaching, and prolonged standing and walking Successful candidates will be required to complete a criminal record check and show proof of a negative TB screen and COVID vaccination.
