Looking for a roommate to join me in my 2 bedroom, 1 bath home downtown on the quiet part of View street! Spacious with lots of room for activities and a giant patio too. Unfurnished room but the space itself is mostly furnished and ready to go, however open to any amenable changes.. The shared space will have furnishings, and is cat friendly. I have two cats I'll be taking with me . There is space for another feline to join our crew if they have the temperament, however the building is currently not dog friendly. Rent is $1300 a month with all utilities taken care of. There is the potential for a parking space. Looking for a respectable roommate who wants to foster a space valuing inclusivity, brings with them experience in communal living and genuine communication. This is an LGBTQ+ friendly home and is an older building with older neighbours in many cases and so respecting that is an important part of community mindedness. A little blurb about me: I'm a 33 year old chef who moved to the city a decade ago for university. I will be out of town most of the month, with a few days on town but when I'm not working, you will find me playing D&D, gardening, packing up for a camping trip or getting creative in some capacity. Feel that I should also include that with the layout of the older shower, it's not arranged in a very amenable way for someone with mobility issues. As for the building itself, it's a quiet building on View street right downtown. Very close to many bus routes and bike lanes but within also walking distance to downtown or the ocean.
