Hello! My name is Lana. Recently separated, my 10-year-old dog, Soma, and I are looking for a permanent place to call home. Currently subletting a place until the end of August, I'm hoping to find a one-bedroom for September 1st (though I can make an August 1st move work if needed). Soma is a husky-shepherd mix — super chill and mostly quiet, though she gets excited when you mention the word "walk" or when certain friends visit. I'll be sharing custody of her, so I’ll only have her part-time. Professionally, I work from home as a web developer and graphic designer. I'm seeking a place in Victoria (Vic West, Fernwood, Oaklands, Fairfield, Rockland, Gonzales), Oak Bay, Saanich, or Central Saanich. My budget is $1800, which ideally includes utilities and reliable WiFi. An above-ground or ground-level space with plenty of natural light, a tub, and some outdoor space would be perfect — perhaps a flat in a house, rather than a traditional apartment. Personally, I appreciate a quiet, peaceful environment and love spending time outdoors, whether it’s hiking, cycling, traveling, or tending to a garden.
