Retired Couple seeking One-Year Basement Suite Rental/Lease

We are looking to lease a clean, walkout basement with yard and/or deck access, suite for at least one year beginning June, July or August 2025. An option to extend the lease on a monthly basis into 2027 would be appreciated. We are active, non-smoking, retired professionals. We are quiet and responsible; can provide references if required; and can provide our own bed, living room chairs and other bits of furniture. Gordonhead, UVic, Hillside Centre areas or a suite 15-20 minutes commute to Fairfield will work. The rental must have kitchen appliances, in-suite laundry, wi-fi and one parking stall. If homeowners are Senior folks, and, are amenable to the concept, my wife and I are prepared to contribute to yard care, exercising a pooch and/or general attention to minor home repair items.
