$60,000 · Property Manager

Randstad Victoria is now looking for a Property Manager for a well established property development company in Victoria BC. The Property Manager should have at least 3-5 or more years of experience in a Property Manager role, managing a portfolio of rental properties. This person should also be a “roll up her/his sleeves kind of person” who will be on top of the day-to-day operations with minimal supervision. Interacting with tenants is core to the role and the ability to effectively identify issues and communicate resolutions is essential. ADVANTAGES -$60-80 000 depending on experience - Benefits -Vacation package -Centrally located office RESPONSIBILITIES -Responsible for reporting common area and in-suite deficiencies; -Oversee repairs and replacement of common area equipment and fixtures. -Assign purchase orders to all requested products/services; -Replace lights, fixtures and other maintenance items as required; Ice melt and snow removal; -Manage, supervise, control, and provide recommendations regarding the following building components and/or regular scheduled services that are contracted out or being handled ‘in house’: -The general maintenance and management of all major business systems -Tenant relations -Leasing and Advertising -Admin duties QUALIFICATIONS - Strong organizational and time management skills - Demonstrated conflict resolution skills -Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act -Ability to operate as part of an interdisciplinary team -Proficient in MS Office programs including Word, Outlook and Excel -Knowledge of Property Management software an asset - Valid driver's licence SUMMARY If this sounds like you, then we would love to hear from you - please apply here today and one of our Staffing Consultants will be in touch.
