$20,000 · Zodiac Hurricane 630 with diesel engine

Former Coast Guard boat purchased from the Coast Guard in 2011 by my late brother with only 1050 hours at the time of purchase. Little use since then due to his ill health and ultimate demise. Now selling on behalf of my sister-in law. The boat is 22 Ft in length with inboard Volvo Penta 4 cylinder diesel AD31L-A. Also comes with dual axle EZ loader trailer that is licensed. Duo prop Volvo drive added in 2015. Original single lower drive is also included along with a spare parts engine that was rebuilt and actually running at the time of purchase 10 years ago. About 6 years ago my brother also installed a Kubota 2.5 KW diesel generator that has less than 20 hours and it comes with a spare engine! The pontoons and hull are in very good condition. The hull has never been painted with antifouling. The boat was stored inside a boathouse and not used for 4 years due to my brothers illness. This lack of use required that we had to get it running and that required changing all fluids and filters including the diesel in the 46 gallon tank. We had the injection pump and injectors rebuilt by Action in Nanaimo, and the raw water pump By Advanced marine in Campbell River. The dual thermostats were changed with OEM Volvo parts. The drive unit was serviced. The engine now cold starts instantly and it runs and idles well but when we launched the boat it would not come up to full power to get on plane and under load the temperature rose excessively so we had to idle back to our dock to cool it down. We think the turbo needs servicing or replacement and the engine coolant changed and the fresh water system flushed. Not sure what else. The heat exchanger was removed and it looked okay but it was not sent out for treatment. It was reinstalled. We decided the next step was to take it to Advanced Marine in Campbell River but my sister-in-law has decided that she is ready to move on and not incur addtional expense or energy. She is also selling her home and wants to move on. The boat is now on its trailer under a boat cover on the property on Quadra Island. This will be a great opportunity for the right person. The boat has go and is priced accordingly. I will make myself available to show it and can assist with moving it.
