Reasonable offers will be considered. This Chappell pianos was manufactured on New Bond St, London, England, and sold by Ewing & Mcintosh of Glasgow. The serial number of this baby grand is 51324, which dates its manufacture between 1911 and 1920. It is 60” and has 85 keys -- 35 ebony and 50 ivory, all in good condition. It plays beautifully and is particularly bright with full clear tones. The hammers and felts and soundboard are all good. It is structurally sound, well maintained, and very recently tuned. This piano has a beautiful case with octagonal tapering legs and large brass casters (original). The music fret is an attractive sunburst design. The case was refinished by International Restorers Ltd in 1976. There are a few chips and scratches (pictured). For an over 100 year-old piano, it is in extremely good condition.
