This is a really cool high-tech, amazing cat litter system. I used it when the cats were indoor kittens but now they're outside mostly and don't need it any more. This is the LARGE version for bigger cats. You need to buy their special Purina Breeze pellets. The pellets don't absorb anything; the cat urine just trickles through them cleanly, down through the screen, into a tray underneath that holds an absorbent pad. You throw away the pad weekly and swap out the pellets monthly. There's no artificial scent and it doesn't get stinky. I know it sounds like magic but it works. They claim it's the mineral zeolite that keeps the urine from forming ammonia (the same mineral is also used in fish tanks). Feces is even easier -- just scoop them out. The box is used, yeah, but it's perfectly clean and fresh. We only used it for a few months. There are about 35 generic Amazon-brand pads left. The pellets are available on Amazon.
