Very heavy duty cord too, 60hz, 115V A.C. 15 Amp. It weighs 3.5 pounds, measures 7” front to back, 5“ side to side and 4” high. The cord is 5.5 feet long. Very solid and has stoppers on the bottom so it doesn’t slide. It has a large shavings receptacle. There was a hairline crack as shown at the front of the receptacle and it’s been secured with “gorilla tape” to make sure doesn’t spread. Price reflects. If you want something that will last many years, this is it! Japan is renowned for making high quality items that last for years! For sure it’ll outlast by many years the ones made in you-know-where that cost 2 or 3 times this one! I don’t know the age I suspect made in the 70-80’s. it didn’t have much use.
