I have to reluctantly say goodbye to my beautiful, well loved, Cable grand piano. I’ve had it for almost 20 years now. Piano players will appreciate when I say it has “soul”. Cable was a manufacturer of mid to higher end pianos in Chicago USA. (If the Steinway was the Cadillac of pianos, Cable was a Buick or Oldsmobile). It has a “crown stay” mechanism which reinforces and maintains the shape of the soundboard. This piano was manufactured in 1929 and refurbished in the past, (no documentation). It is made of American walnut, plays well and sounds BEAUTIFULL. It has also been tuned several times since my ownership. I’ve enjoyed this gorgeous piano for many years and hope you could too. The price of includes moving within Greater Victoria area.
