Seeking Furniture for a Senior in Need Hello, I'm looking for household furniture to help my mom make her apartment feel more like a home after losing her husband of 45+ years earlier this year. She is a low-income senior living in a small subsidized apartment, and we’re hoping to find gently used items for free or at a very low cost. We’re looking for: Side or accent table Clean area rug Tall bookshelves or cabinets with storage Filing cabinet or something to organize paperwork Coat rack stand Please no broken or moldy items—just things in decent to good condition that could bring some comfort and warmth to her space.
