Education and Communications Assistant Join our small, established educational business specializing in Hospice and Palliative Education for frontline caregivers. This hybrid remote position offers flexibility but will require occasional in-person attendance for training. You will play a crucial role in supporting educational development and customer service. About the job: We're looking for a dedicated Education and Communications Assistant for a 3-month remote contract, working around 30 hours per week. This role is ideal for someone who is self-motivated and enjoys collaborating online. You'll need a reliable computer, phone, and internet access, along with a quiet space for team meetings. Strong communication and problem-solving skills are essential. A passion for healthcare, education, and supporting caregivers is highly valued, as is an interest in learning about hospice and/or palliative care. This is a 3-month remote contract position (approximately 30 hours per week), with the possibility of transitioning to a full-time role based on performance and business needs. The contract will be reviewed at the end of the term for potential renewal and consideration for a permanent position. What you’ll do: • Customer Service: Assist with inquiries from colleges, instructors, and students regarding online resources and technical support. • Communications: Review social media content, create and distribute e-newsletters, proofread blog posts. Support CEO in organizing webinars and maintaining the WordPress website. • CRM Management: Maintain and develop Active Campaign, including automations and troubleshooting. • Research: Conduct research to enhance healthcare education materials such as textbooks, workbooks, and multimedia content. Qualifications: • Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Word) and Windows. Advantageous Familiarity With: • Tools: Active Campaigns, Airtable, Asana, SurveyMonkey, Soundcloud, Vimeo. • Adobe Creative Cloud: Acrobat, Audition, InDesign, Photoshop, Premiere. • Video Editing: Camtasia 2021 or similar.
