Junior Legal Assistant – Free Parking!

Dominion GovLaw LLP (“GovLaw”) is an established law firm with a focus on local governments. Our instructing clients are professional civil servants serving local communities. GovLaw works on interesting public issues that require litigation compliance and enforcement. We are located in Saanich with free parking and across from Rithet’s Park, a 40-minute walking trail. We seek a full-time legal assistant with experience in municipal, criminal and/or insurance defence. If you excel in a team-based work environment with friendly colleagues and nice clients, we should talk. Qualifications: 1. 1-5 years litigation experience in managing files to trial; 2. Skilled in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Clio, Teams, webinars or related legal software; 3. Hardworking, detail oriented and a team player; and 4. Solid knowledge of Provincial and Supreme Court rules, forms and procedures. Compensation: • $42,000 - $52,000 annual salary commensurate with experience and bonuses; • Cash allowance for health benefits.
