Meet up mornings near Fort and Cook. Made in Italy by Guido Bergna. It is from the 80’s, very well made. It makes 3 espresso size cups (about 2 oz each) approx 200 ml (6.5 oz) total. I just had a new gasket and filter screen installed at the Italian Deli on Blanshard ($10). The boss man there is very knowledgeable on Italian made pots and has the replacements for most pots. The gasket will not need replacing for many years. There is some heat discolouration as shown but that has no affect on use. No dents or leaks, very clean. New ones made in Italy are up to $300 for this size. When shopping for one remember if it doesn’t state “made in Italy” on the pot then it isn’t! You get what you pay for! The quality of the stainless steel and the workmanship is superior. Nearly all companies have outsourced to China now. A noticeable difference. Sadly.
