This little counter with it's shelves, cupboard and drawers was thoroughly enjoyed by our kids when they were younger. At different times it was a kitchen, a craft centre, a place to store small things so that the baby couldn't get them... and more. It is solidly built. It has had more than one owner, but hardly shows its age (a few scratches and worn corners).
